How Does It Work?

How Does It Work?

Here’s how we connect you with your ideal online piano teacher, and arrange online piano lessons to meet your needs:

  • Finding your preferred online piano teacher: Tell us about the type of teacher you are looking for, or browse our list of online piano teachers - we have online piano teachers to meet all of your needs and preferences. We also have in-person piano teachers located in a wide range of areas, offering piano lessons in students’ homes, piano lessons in the teachers’ home teaching studios, or in our other teaching studios which are not home-based.

  • Matching your musical interests: Each of our online piano teachers comes from a slightly different musical background, and has followed a different focus in their career as a professional pianist and online piano teacher. We listen carefully to the needs of our online piano students, asking them about their musical interests, previous experience on the piano, aspirations in music, learning style, and practical requirements, in order to carefully match them with their ideal online piano teacher.

  • Trying it out: All of our new online piano students start off with one trial online piano lesson, to meet their online piano teacher and get a sense of their online piano teacher’s personality and approach to online piano lessons. (Just to clarify, our trial lesson is a regular paid lesson, and is not offered for free. See our Pricing for details.)

  • Continuing weekly: After your initial online piano lesson, if you feel you have found the right online piano teacher for you, you can continue on with regular, weekly piano lessons. Choosing an online piano teacher is a delicate matter, and occasionally our students will have trial piano lessons with a couple of our online piano teachers before settling into a regular online piano lesson schedule.
