Our piano teacher Yu-Pin offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Yu-Pin has been teaching piano lessons since 2019. Yu-Pin is a composer and pianist who actively performs and participates in music events. Recently, her compositions have been performed and workshopped by musicians in Canada, Taiwan, and the United States. She has often premiered pieces by her composer colleagues at various venues, such as the Student Composers’ Concert. She has performed on piano at the the Canadian Contemporary Showcase, at a Paul & Hahn Co. concert, with the University of Toronto Contemporary Music Ensemble, and at Piano Fete. She has also performed at many music festivals and competitions, where she has won multiple national awards. She is also an experienced piano accompanist, and has been working as the accompanist for a ballet school. Currently, Yu-Pin is pursuing her Master of Music in Composition at Mannes School of Music in New York through her achievement of merit scholarships. She is experienced in teaching music theory to piano learners of all levels, from beginners to the university level. Yu-Pin is an encouraging, accommodating, and organized teacher dedicated to helping develop each student's piano and music skills.
