Our piano teacher, Johnathan, offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelors degree in Piano Performance, and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. He has been teaching piano lessons since 2013. This piano teacher began performing at age 16, and as a solo pianist he has performed many piano recitals as part of his undergraduate education and has continued to perform classical repertoire in concerts, music festivals, and for weddings and private events. Since graduating college, he has also been part of many rock bands, and performs regularly with his original, songwriting band and his Tom Petty cover band for various bar and festival gigs. He is a dependable piano accompanist that many students and instructors look to hire for recitals, and as a teacher he regularly accompanies his students. More recently, he has composed themes for podcasts, and records songs and EPs on an annual basis. He has also composed for student films. In his lessons, this piano teacher infuses an emphasis on self-improvement and experimentation alongside consistent and efficient practise to help students develop ear sensitivity, technical ease, creativity, and overall musicality in their piano playing.
