Our piano teacher, Juro, in Bedford Park-Nortown offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 8 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Masters of Music degree, and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. He has been teaching piano lessons since 2010. Since his first performance with a rock band at the age of 9, he has been a staple at church bands and has held music directorship roles as a keyboardist. He has appeared in various piano recitals, concerts, and musical productions with prominent artists as a collaborating pianist, as well as being piano accompanist for church and concert choirs, in weekly church services and concert performances. As a composer, he has premiered works in many festivals across Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. His percussion duo work "Gandingan sa Kagiliran" is released on the Millennial Masters Vol. 7 album under Ablaze Records. He has garnered artist residencies with the Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts (Saratoga, WY), Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts (Nebraska City, NE), and the Canadian Music Centre in Ontario. His teaching style integrates his students' goals and musical interests with proper diligence and attention to technique and musicality.
