Hong: Online Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher Hong offers classical piano lessons for ages 6 and above, from beginner to intermediate levels. This piano teacher has a Master’s in Piano Performance and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Hong has been teaching piano lessons since 2018. In her career, this piano teacher has performed numerous solo piano recitals in China and the United States, including at the Warner, Auer, and Xinghai Concert Halls. She has participated in many competitions as a solo pianist, and also has professional experience in chamber music. She just finished a performance with her piano trio at Indiana University. Further, Hong is a sought-after piano accompanist for instrumentalists, vocalists, and students for recitals. Having begun her own study of the piano at a very young age, this piano teacher knows exactly how many challenges a young beginner faces. In her lessons, she will provide practical strategies and clear goals while also making sure her students can experience enjoyment from practicing. She also likes to set individual plans for every student, because every student is unique. Hong encourages her students to develop listening skills and self-assessment abilities, and so she usually introduces music literature into her lessons to create a more "real" environment for study.
