Emi: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Emi offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Postgraduate Soloist Degree in Piano Performance and many years of experience teaching and performing piano internationally. Emi has been teaching piano lessons since 2015. In her career, Emi has traveled throughout Europe performing in concert halls, such as the Bijloke Muziekcentrum in Belgium, and in small village squares in Italy. She specializes in 20th and 21st century modern piano repertoire and has worked with many established and young composers of her generation. Emi currently has a two-piano duo called Tandem Duo and has worked with wind bands, orchestras, and other ensembles, such as Spectra Ensemble. She has also worked as a wedding pianist for many years. Emi is a sought-after accompanist for vocalists, instrumentalists, and students for exams, and has worked regularly accompanying church services and choirs in Scotland. Along with being a classical pianist, she works as an improviser and often makes her own music from recordings she makes of everyday life. Emi’s students are marked by their distinct piano skills in sight-reading, improvisation, music theory, and creativity as well as their strong sense of discipline, self-motivation, and love for music in their everyday lives.
