Mehmet: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Baturay, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 12 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Doctorate of Music Art degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Baturay has been teaching piano lessons since 2016. In his career, he has performed around the world, including in Albania, Argentina, China, Croatia, England, France, Italy, Kazakhstan, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, and the United States. He has played jazz piano recitals at some of the most famous venues in Istanbul, as well as at countless music festivals around Turkey. He has received numerous awards for his piano talents, including first place at Istanbul University State Conservatory and third place at the European Young Pianists Competition. He is a very experienced accompanist in many genres, including classical, bass, and tango. He has also influenced other musicians, including work at the Istanbul Jazz Festival and music workshops at the Berklee College of Music. His piano talents were further developed through a scholarship to the renowned Yo Yo Ma established Global Musician Workshop and sponsorship by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He has now created eight personal albums and contributed to many others. These diverse and impactful international music experiences have helped him to become a skilled and dedicated teacher, including as a Doctoral Lecturer at the Istanbul University State Conservatory. Baturay’s high level of qualifications and professional experience allow him to offer engaging and inspiring piano lessons.
