Luis: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher, Luis, offers classical piano lessons for ages 12 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and is currently a PhD candidate. Luis has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. He has had a successful solo and collaborative piano career. He toured across the Canadian Prairies as the winner of MRMTA's Young Artist Tour. Additionally, he has performed as a soloist with the Aguascalientes University Philharmonic Orchestra and the Brandon University Orchestra. With over 11 years of experience working as an accompanist, Luis has worked with several instrumentalists in universities, as well as youth choirs, dance studios, conservatory chorales, and dance schools. Luis is also a successful freelance composer, with works performed by some of the top orchestras in North America, including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, and the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. His passion for sharing the joy of music drives his holistic teaching approach, tailored to each student's interests, needs, and goals. Beyond technique, Luis aims to nurture whole musicians with an insatiable curiosity for sound, emotion, and expression.
