Filippos: Online Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher Filippos offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 8 and above, from beginner to intermediate levels. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Filippos has been teaching piano lessons since 2016. As a pianist and improviser, he has performed in numerous venues across Europe, including State51 Conspiracy in London and Chimeres in Athens. He was awarded 2nd prize of the Dionisian Trust Chopin Piano Competition. An avid improviser and composer, this piano teacher co-founded KRAMA music festival, which aims to present a new outlook within the Athenian independent music scene, bringing together free improvisation with contemporary classical and experimental electronic music. He also creates interdisciplinary work with visual artists and has independently released an album of improvisational recordings. As an experienced performer across classical, pop, jazz, indie, and many other genres, Filippos is able to guide students through any style of music they want to learn. His background in composition and improvisation allows him to provide analysis skills to the student, helping them to gain a better understanding of the music they are playing. This piano teacher’s holistic approach ensures that students become well-rounded musicians and develop a true love and passion for music.
