Len: Online/Skype Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher, Len, offers piano lessons in all styles of music, for ages 5 and above, from intermediate to advanced/professional levels. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree, an Honours Diploma in Composition and Performance from Humber College, and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. He has been teaching piano lessons since 1983. This piano teacher has been a professional pianist for over 30 years, performing on cruise ships, in nightclubs, and for special events, in solo jazz piano and cocktail piano contexts. Much of Len's performing experience includes directing and playing keyboards, harmonica, and back-up vocals for touring rock, blues, reggae, rhythm and blues, and jazz bands. He has worked extensively with tribute acts including all past winners of the Ultimate Elvis competitions in Memphis, directed a choir, and written and arranged for orchestras. This piano teacher is the musical director for a church and arranges and performs several special Vespers services each year. He has been in demand for decades as an accompanist for singers, choirs, and instrumentalists in many genres. He directed and performed music for the Canadian National Newspaper Awards for many years, and orchestrated and digitally copied music for the band Lighthouse with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. His compositions and recordings have been used in short films, interactive multi-media platforms, and performances by the Mississauga Sinfonia and others. As a teacher, Len incorporates his performing experience and knowledge of music styles and technology to tailor piano lessons for his students' needs and interests.
