Lucas: Online Piano Teacher

Our online/Skype piano teacher Lucas offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 9 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Lucas has been teaching piano lessons since 2016. He plays with a MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) band and also has experience as a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer. On piano he plays contemporary worship music with bands in Christian churches and works regularly as accompanist for church services. This teacher also holds a Licentiate's degree in music and in recent years has been improving his knowledge in music education. He recently won a prize from FUNARTE (a Brazilian federal institution of arts) with an online workshop on music education methodology for teachers. Lucas' experience and knowledge of music education allow him to guide his students in a very objective and effective way, adapting his classes according to the specific goals and technical skills of each student.
