Denise: Online/Skype Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher Denise offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Denise has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. She has performed as a solo pianist in venues like the Jed Leshowitz Recital Hall (NJ), Evelyn Weisberg Hall (NY), and Steinway Hall (NY). Her playing is noted for its sensitivity and musicality. Denise has also performed chamber music on both the piano and the harpsichord. Notable performances include Benjamin Britten's Canticle III and Gabriel Faure's La Bonne Chanson Op. 61 at the Jed Leshowitz Recital Hall. This piano teacher also worked as one of the main accompanists for the Montclair State University Vocal Literature class. She collaborated extensively with singers, helping them with note-learning and musicianship. In addition to performing as a soloist and as a collaborator, Denise has been an advocate for piano health. She studied extensively with the director of the Piano Wellness Seminar, Sheila Paige. Under Ms. Paige's tutelage, this piano teacher learned healthy technique for both injured and non-injured pianists. Denise has also taken Alexander Technique lessons which integrates the whole body to enhance piano playing health. Her mission is to provide a holistic music education that prevents piano-related injuries, develops analytical and aural skills, and fosters a love for different musical styles.
