Andrew: Online Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher Andrew offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has an Associate Diploma (ARCT) in Piano Performance and is a professional concert pianist. Andrew has been teaching piano lessons since 2017. This piano teacher has performed many solo piano recitals across Canada. When he won the Federation of Canadian Music Festivals' National Piano Competition and the Atlantic Young Artist Competition, he was put on a solo concert tour across Canada, performing demanding repertoire that included Chopin's 3rd Piano Sonata. To date, he has been programmed at many concert series, such as Cecilia Concerts, Musique Royale, Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance, and UPEI Concert Series. In addition to his solo piano career, he has collaborated with internationally recognized musicians, such as Denise Djokic and Stephane Therault. Furthermore, he has performed under the baton of many great conductors with Symphony Nova Scotia, Nova Sinfonia, Dalhousie Symphony Orchestra, and the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra. From his vast experience of learning from the greats, this piano teacher has translated the lessons he received to his own lessons for his students, and caters them based on his students' goals and musical aspirations. Andrew's top qualifications, many years of professional experience as a concert pianist, and ability to instruct how to play the piano will undoubtedly be beneficial to all students. Having taught piano to young children all the way to adults, he makes sure that above all, the lessons are fun (music should be fun!) and that the lessons are catered to students' goals.
