Vera: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Vera offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree, and has also taken graduate cello and music conservatory courses. She has a wealth of experience both teaching and performing as a pianist. Vera has been teaching piano lessons since 2003. She has performed her own piano compositions at Música de POA, a festival for composers in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Vera has performed for about two years with 'Bandaneon', an 80's rock band in southern Brazil. She also has experience as an accompanist, including for musicians of other instruments, such as clarinet and harpsichord, and for students at various institutions. Besides being a pianist, Vera has also performed as solo cellist with two choral groups in recent years, and as symphony cellist in the past. She has also previously performed in a variety of settings on the violin, viola, and guitar. As a singer, she has performed as a soprano both as a soloist and with choirs. Vera has extensive experience teaching individuals, small ensembles, and orchestra preparation. Her students have been able to demonstrate considerable growth, including those who began with her as absolute beginners. Vera is excited to share her piano expertise and passion for music with her future students.
