Gabriel: Online Piano Teacher
Our online piano teacher Gabriel offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 10 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Gabriel has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. In addition to his Bachelor of Piano Performance and Double Master of Music in Solo and Collaborative Piano degrees, Gabriel is currently pursing a Master of Music in Solo Piano Performance degree. As a performer, he has participated in many festivals and competitions, including Ávila Festival, Campos do Jordao Festival, Curitiba Music Workshop, where he has won numerous national and international first prizes. He has performed on piano as a soloist, in a duo, and in a trio or with chamber music. Gabriel has collaborated on performances and recordings with singers and instrumentalists from around the globe, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Italy, and the United States. He has also accompanied symphony bands and orchestras, and was the piano accompanist for the violin and cello departments, women’s choir, and professional choral at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Currently, Gabriel manages the Ars Piano Project, which aims to spread Brazilian music and composers around the world. As a piano teacher, his methodology is based on each student’s needs and he aims for the independence of practice and effortless playing. Gabriel’s goal is teaching how to use the necessary tools to achieve piano goals by guiding their process of thinking and leading to fulfillment through patience and discipline.
