Emma: Online/Skype Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher, Emma, offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Emma has been teaching piano lessons since 2014. This piano teacher teaches and performs using holistic physical and mental piano techniques inspired by Taubman, Alexander Technique, Pilates, and Yoga, among others. Emma has performed in competitions, at numerous university showcase events, in solo recitals, and at various benefit concerts. She has also been asked to provide piano music at weddings and funerals. This piano teacher enjoys regularly sharing her music in retirement homes. Emma has also programmed and performed over a year's worth of organ and piano music for church services. Emma has performed in a university contemporary chamber ensemble, participated in the pit orchestra of the composer opera for a music festival, and appeared as a guest in the Etobicoke Philharmonic Orchestra. She has worked as a piano accompanist at numerous community choirs, benefit concerts, and regular and high season church services. She has directed and accompanied musical theatre rehearsals and performances. This piano teacher also performs with instrumentalists and vocalists for community concerts and music exams. Emma has consistently received top awards in the competitions she has participated in. She played in a masterclass for a notorious concert pianist. Emma's passion for piano, teaching, and performing is fuelled by her love of sound in all forms, her fascination with the history of music, and her desire to guide her piano students in reaching new levels of fluency and personal expression on the piano.
