Andrea: Online Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher Andrea offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 7 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance and a wealth of experience teaching, composing, and performing. Andrea has been teaching piano lessons since 2011. Through her career, she has won several awards for her imaginative compositions and performances, positioning herself as one of the lead musicians in Colombia's scene. Andrea has performed in small chamber ensembles playing minimalist Latin American music. She is the pianist and backup singer of several bands from Bogota’s independent music scene, performing a diversity of styles that include hip hop, minimalism, afrobeat, pop, jazz, and others. This piano teacher has experience performing in several international music festivals, and as a recording musician as well. She can offer instruction in jazz, classical, psychedelic cumbia, salsa, afrobeat, and pop/rock styles of music. Andrea thinks of music lessons as a safe space for experimentation, improvisation, and exploration without fear of mistakes. This way students can connect deeply with their inner selves and enhance their life habits and musicality.
