Arup: Online/Skype Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher, Arup, offers classical piano lessons for ages 8 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a LRSM diploma, and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. He has been teaching piano lessons since 1990. This piano teacher has extensively performed as a piano soloist, with varied repertoire ranging from Bach's Partitas to Beethoven's Waldstein and Appassionata Sonatas, Chopin Ballades, and Schubert Impromptus to name just a few. He performed the Mendelssohn Double Concerto in D minor for Piano & Violin with the Calcutta Chamber Orchestra as part of the Centenary celebrations of the Calcutta School of Music. He regularly works as a piano accompanist for instruments such as violin, flute, and cello in concerts and examinations at advanced levels. This piano teacher has worked as the Joint Head of Western Music at the Calcutta School of Music, India from 2011 to 2014, and has been responsible for supervising the quality standards of over 1000 students in various western music disciplines. This piano teacher makes an effort to customize his piano lessons for each student depending on their needs. At the same time, he never compromises on the fundamentals such as having students develop a mature finger technique and knowledge of music theory. He ensures a well-rounded musical development of each and every one of his piano students, and makes learning a fun and enjoyable experience at the same time.
