Maritess: Online/Skype Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher, Maritess, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 9 and above, from beginner to advanced. She holds a Masters degree in Music and is currently studying for her Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance. This piano teacher has a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. She has been teaching piano lessons since 1989. Maritess' experience includes performing on piano for events, accompanying student recitals, and performing solo piano recitals in venues across the Philippines including the Bicol University amphitheater, and the Insular Life auditorium. This piano teacher is an experienced piano accompanist having worked with church choirs, the National Music Competitions for Young Artists Foundation (NAMCYA), Las Cuerdas ensemble, and string orchestras. She regularly performs as a piano soloist and in collaboration with other instrumentalists and singers. This piano teacher has also produced two sets of solo piano recordings, sold in the Philippines and abroad. In addition to being a recording artist, she has written several compositions and arrangements of Filipino music, classical music, and church music for rondalla, piano, and choir. She is a lifetime members of the Piano Teachers’ Guild of the Philippines (PTGP). Maritess enjoys teaching piano lessons with the goal of sharing her expertise in performance, accompanying, composing, and arrangement with her students.
