Mellisa: Online/Skype Piano Teacher
Our online/Skype piano teacher, Mellisa, offers classical piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music. Mellisa has been teaching piano lessons since 2005. During her career, she has performed throughout the country; locally, Mellisa performs with a concert band at weddings, receptions, and parties. She is an accomplished piano accompanist known for her work with instrumentalists and vocalists, helping students prepare for exams and juries. This piano teacher has also been a music director and accompanist for several churches and has run her own music school for the past twelve years. Her true love of music stems from composing and arranging; she has written and published pieces for solo piano, instrumental ensembles, and choirs. Composition has fuelled her passion for quality education materials: this piano teacher has authored several music curriculums, including music theory for beginners-intermediate as well as beginning song writing and composing. Seeing the need for quality music in places where qualified music teachers are unavailable, Mellisa has put her passion into specializing in online music lessons. Her unique background and professional qualifications allow her to adapt and cater to each individual student’s needs. She believes that everyone can and should get to learn music. This piano teacher will ensure that each student acquires the tools they need to become well rounded, independent musicians, and that they develop the gift of music for a lifetime of joy.
